• You shall have no other gods before me.
 • You shall not mae for yourself an idol in the form of anything in heaven or in the waters below.
 • You shall not misuse the name of the Lord your God.
 • Remember the Sabbath day by keeping it holy.
 • Honour your father and your mother.
 • You shall not murder.
 • You shall not commit adultery.
 • You shall not steal.
 • You shall not give false testimony against your neighbour.
 • You shall not covet your neighbour's house. You shall not covet your neighbour's wife, or his manservant or maidservant,     his ox or donkey, or anything that belongs to your neighbour.

• मबाहेक अरु कुनै देवता-देवीहरु नमान्नु ।
• आफ्ना निम्ति खोपेर कुनै किसिमको मूर्ति नबनाउनू, माथि आकश अथवा तल पृथ्वी वा तल पानीमा भएको कुनै कुराको   आकारको प्रतिमूर्ति नबनाउनु ।
• परमप्रभु आफ्ना परमेश्वरको नाउँ व्यर्थैमा नलिनू ।
• शबाथ-दिन (विश्राम-दिन) मान्नुपर्छ भनी याद राख्न्नु ।
• आफ्ना आमा बाबु र आमालाई आदर गर ।
• हत्या नगर्नू ।
• तैँले व्यभिचार नगर्नू ।
• चोरी नगर्नू ।
• आफ्नो छिमेकीको विरुद्धमा झूटो गवाही नदिनू ।
• आफ्नो छिमेकीको घरको लालच नगर्नू । आफ्नो छिमेकीको स्वस्नीको लालच नगर्नू, आफ्नो छिमेकीको कमारा, कमारी, गोरु,    गधा वा त्यसको कुनै पनि थोकको लालच नगर्नू । (प्रस्थान २०:३-१७)
